Delete your data

Cutout does not require an account, and there is currently no developer-operated account server. Everything Cutout remembers lives on your device, so you delete it directly from your device.

No account deletion form is needed

Because Cutout has no developer-operated account backend, there is no server-side profile to delete. The steps below remove everything Cutout stores locally.

1. Delete one recent upload

  • Open Cutout.
  • Navigate to your recent uploads.
  • Select the item you want to remove and delete it.

Cutout keeps up to 24 recent uploads. Removing an item deletes it from the app's private local storage.

2. Delete all local application data

  • Open Android Settings.
  • Go to Apps (or Apps & notifications) and select Cutout.
  • Open Storage and cache.
  • Tap Clear storage (some devices label this Clear data).

This removes:

  • All recent uploads
  • Saved editing state
  • Local application settings and preferences
  • Remembered Google profile information from optional sign-in

Menu wording can differ slightly depending on your device and Android version.

3. Delete exported images

  • Open your device's gallery or file manager.
  • Go to the Pictures/Cutout folder.
  • Delete the images you no longer want, then empty the trash or recently deleted album if your gallery has one.

Important

Clearing Cutout's storage or uninstalling Cutout does not automatically delete files you have already exported into your shared Pictures collection. Those images belong to your device's photo library and must be deleted separately.

4. Remove locally remembered Google profile details

If you signed in with Google, sign out inside the application, or clear the application's storage or uninstall Cutout. Any locally remembered account identifier, email, display name, and profile-picture URL is removed with the app's local data.

5. Advertising information handled by Google

Advertising information processed by Google is controlled through Google and Android privacy controls and is not stored in a Cutout developer-operated account. On most devices you can open Settings → Google → All services → Ads to reset or delete your advertising ID and adjust ad personalisation.
